Two Weeks, ages 12-13
Maximum Group Size: 12 (week 1); 16 (week 2).

For those looking for a two week camp combining all of our summer activities, this is the answer! Spend week one on our Raft & Climb Adventure along the North Saskatchewan River. After an afternoon, night, and morning to rest at the lodge, spend week two enjoying a variety of day trips on our standard Youth Adventure Camp.

Activities

·                  Rock Climbing and Rappelling

·                  Caving

·                  Mountain Hiking

·                  Overnight Expeditions

·                  Kayaking

·                  Rafting overnight trip (4 nights!)

·                  Wilderness Skills/Survival Skills

·                  Outdoor Cooking

And to top it all off, the evenings will be spent

·                  Doing Initiative games/log book

·                  Sleeping

·                  Shelter Building

·                  More Sleeping

·                  Star Science

·                  Campfires

It promises to be an exciting challenge for all of us, so for those of you who want more: COME AND GET IT !!

What to Bring

Gear can be purchased at a variety of outdoor stores including MEC, a co-op with some of the lowest prices in North America.

·                  Clothing (track suit for running, running shoes, sweaters, socks (lots), shorts, T-shirts and sweat pants) Avoid jeans except for indoors.

·                  Warm jacket (fleece best), Warm pants (not jeans).

·                  Rain Jacket and Pants

·                  Gloves, hat and toque

·                  Swim wear/ water shoes

·                  Toiletries, towels, facecloth

·                  Sleeping bag and pillow (sleeping bag should be one that can be packed in a back pack with lots of room to spare) good to minus 10.

·                  Day pack or back pack (We can rent you one, if you don't have one, $10 for the week)

·                  Most important of all is a good pair of hiking boots(best) or hiking shoes!!

·                  Camera and pocket money (optional)

·                  Sunglasses, Sunscreen

·                  2 - 1L Waterbottles (Nalgene brand best)

·                  Make sure to properly label all of your gear.

Please avoid bringing valuables to camp. We will not be responsible for lost or stolen articles.

The following items are not allowed at COE summer youth programs

·                  Cell Phones

·                  MP3 Players, Walkmans, etc.

·                  Gameboys, Nintendo's, etc.

·                  Knives
