Always wanted to try
rock climbing? Been in the rock gym a couple times, but want to get outside?
It’s exhilarating, empowering, and exciting so come out to COE for a couple
of days and learn the basics of rock climbing. If you would prefer a course
with an emphasis on learning to set up climbs on your own, please see our Top
Roping and Anchor Building Course. Agenda
Arrive
the evening before to meet your guide and fellow participants. After a
homecooked breakfast we’ll head out to the crags to start “craggin”. We'll
cover safety, hazards, knots, belays, climbing calls, rappeling and have a
full day of heart-racing, adrenaline-pumping rock climbing. Sunday we’ll be
back at the crags challenging ourselves some more and practicing our new
skills. Don’t worry for there are a variety of different climbs which will
challenge all levels of ability from the very novice to those who are more
experienced and interested in taking their climbing to the next level. Gear List
