Custom Rock Climbing Instruction

Any aspect of rock climbing that you would like to learn is available as a custom course from our guides. A 1:1 or 1:2 guiding ratio allows for the most intensive instruction however larger groups are more than welcome and provide a less expensive option.

Sample Topics

Note that most of these topics are covered in our advanced rock week course.

Top-Rope Setups - Learn to set up top-ropes in a wide variety of situations.
Traditional Gear Climbing - Cams, nuts, pitons and more. Learn to use the tools of the gear climber.
Advanced Movement - Want to improve your climbing skills? Our guides lead up to 5.12 and can pass on many of the advanced techniques required for hard climbing.
Rock Rescue - Anyone venturing into multipitch terrain should have some basic self-rescue and buddy-rescue skills.
Multipitch Climbing - Learn how to safely climb and descend big rock routes.
New Routing/Bolting - Our guides are very experienced in the art of bolting new sport climbs, learn how to do it properly.

Guides

All guides are members of the Association of Canadian Mountain Guides. They are expert climbers with ascents of some of the Canadian Rockies biggest and hardest rock routes under their belts. The have also climbing throughout the United States, New Zealand, and South America. Their overwhelming enthusiasm for rock climbing is highly contagious!

1 guest: $400/day
2 guests: $465/day
Larger Groups: Additional $65 per person.
2 or more Days*
1 guest: $350/day
2 guests: $400/day
* 2 or more day discount applies when days are all paid for at once and all occur within a 30 day period.
