Advanced Ice Skills Week
Spend five days
learning and practicing ice climbing skills and techniques. Every day will be
spent climbing in the greatest ice climbing area on earth, the Canadian
Rockies. The course will begin with basic skills and proceed right through to
lead climbing and multi-pitch techniques. Some of the days will be in a groups
setting and some will be in a 1:2 guide to student ratio allowing for personalized
instruction and ascents of routes at your level!
A couple of days
previous ice climbing experience is required before taking this course. If you
have never climbed, check out our Ice weekends as
a place to start. Another option is to hire one of our guides for a couple of
days before the course to get you up to speed!
Guides
Instructors
of this course are ACMG trained guides and expert ice climbers with hundreds of
hard ascents under their belts. They have vast experience and knowledge in the
mountain environment and a passion for sharing this knowledge with thier
guests.

Add-on guiding days
available for 1 guest/guide at $350/day and for 2 guests/guide at $200 per
